I wish I could say more about the gig, but sometimes, as a photographer, you just have to come in, do your job, and leave. The two songs I managed to catch were great, and from outside the room the rest of the show sounded pretty good. Jarvis Cocker hasn’t lost the ability to throw a shape or two!
The whole auditorium was sparkle-lit by a giant disco ball on the ceiling, giving the place a real disco vibe, it was like a night club wrapped in an arena, as gigs in the point go, this one had all the hallmarks of an intimate gig.
Shots bagged, ears ringing—on to the next one.
